Parking - is Mangenese the tradition solution?

I am looking to starting to do some parkering. Is mangenese the more traditional solution? I was going to order the concentrate from Brownells and couldn't tell if Mangenese or zinc was the traditional. It looked like mangenese and that was what I was going with.

Traditional as in what. Origional park was zinc - the lighter gray/greenish gray. Mangenese is more black/dark gray. Depends on what look and what origional finish you are trying to duplicate.
