Default Who here has an AR50? Need optic advice

Time to scope this bad girl up and sight her in. Does anyone have any suggestions on rings? I was thinking medium rings and getting another Super Sniper. Not to crazy but supposed to handle 50 cal recoil. I would love a Nightforce or Leoupold but I don't think I have the jack to make it happen. I'm not sure Super Sniper has a strong enough magnification for long range 50 sniping.

Looking for help boys!

Barret rings, Badger Max 50, Knight's 6 screw. The AR50 is relatively mild on the recoil so any of the above rings should work well. I have used the Barret and Badger rings and they have not slipped or damaged a scope (always lap before installing a scope). LOL, the rings may cost more than you plan to spend on the scope. Buy quality the first time and you won't be buying a replacement in a couple of months.

I had a SS on my Ferret 50 and it worked fine and held up well. Long range might be an issue if you are talking 800 - 1000 yards.

I have one of these on my ar50. http://www.usoptics.com/product.php?partnumber=SN3-1700 The scope is flat out awesome. It has the red illuminated option with the horus h-25 reticle and mil calibrated turrets. It blows away everything else I have ever used including nightforce. The gun on the other hand I have never shot so I cant tell you. I do have above mentioned scope setting on the rifle with a set of badger ord rings, but never seem to find the time or place to shoot it. I am thinking about re-allocating scope to another rifle so I can use it again. It kills me to see it sitting on a rifle I cant use anywhere around my house knowing how good it is.

Was that with the original brake? I have a 36" Ferret and it ate a $800 IOR in less than 100 rnds. Put a Serbu brake on it and tamed it a bunch. Ended up putting a Horus Vision on it after that and a NightForce on my Serbu. I like the NightForce better.

One of my rings was loose on my Surbu BFG-50 and it shattered a lens my Super Sniper. I replaced the SS (and rings). Later that year I got a NightForce. I considered putting it on the .50 - but after shattering one scope rated for .50Cal I think I would cry if it happened to the Night Force. It went on my 700 and the new Super Sniper went to the .50.

I went with a Bushnell Elite 3200 10x40 scope. Its a solid scope, with great warranty. Barret sold their rifles with the same scope and the military has used them on the .50's. I went with Burris Xtreme Tactical rings, they are heavy duty and have got great reviews with other .50 shooters.

IOR had some quality issues a while ago
Super Snipers usually only break once and are great after warranty fix
NF has a lifetime of the scope warranty it dont matter if you are a pre owned owner they will fix it and quickly
USO is good but very pricey cost as much as or more than the rifle the SN-9 had the have its front mount redesigned to hold up to a 50, know some one who broke it twice then they went to redesigning it not a thing wrong with the glass

with a 50 it is a matter of When rather than If you will break any scope made on one trust me i know i started in the 50 game long before scopes were designed for them (eye relief, and construction )
