Default 1919a7?

Since I cant do anything with my 1919 until I get home, I figured I would ask another question I can't seem to find any information on. My 1919 is Marked as a 1919A7 from Saginaw Steering. I know that its not actually from Saginaw, and the only thing I can find on this 1919 is this website: http://1919a7.com/ . The sideplate looks just like the picture halfway down, my questions are: Does anyone know that company? Should I be worried about my 1919 in terms of quality? (I know the Top Latch seems to be an issue from my previous post, so now im weary.) There doesnt seem to be much about that company, and they dont really give a name, just say they are 1919A7.com..... I hope I didnt buy from a notably bad company, I may have only gone to the range once with her, I dont want to give her up!

I can tell that it was made with an Izzy Parts kit, everything is Izzy Stamped. Looks like its time for a detailed dis-assembly and seeing if there are any other identifying marks on it. Thanks for the info, its too bad there isnt a lot of information on this company and my 1919A7....

They post on their site

The 1919a4 or 7 is not prohibited in those states...Or at least most of them that I know of. Im not familiar with CT & MA law, but the rest are 100% legal to own a 1919a-whatever

I'd suspect a typo and they meant ISO 9000.

Heh, looks like it's just their own designation for a semi-1919. They even use Tom-t's internal parts, I think: " karma trigger and scar"

Default 1919a7 ??????

If i am not mistaken that was the designation that lee tool used many many moons ago with their sideplate and conversion for the 1919A4 Long before almost anyone on this board was messing with these parts sets. Lee tool was one of the first to sell a sideplate and mods to the internals for these conversions not cheap around $600.00 IIRC-- I bought one assembled it and still have it to this day !!

**** Not to get on anyones nerves here but he trigger and sear are almost the same as the one sold by Karma-- Sideplate is the same as everyones manufactured today-- They modified your internals and posted them back when they were finished-- Actually it was the ONLY deal in there day-- Now we are lucky to have many variations and choices!! I can remember when the only semi auto 1919A4 was $3600.00 And for that I could have bought like 4 full auto pre-86 1919A4 by the same reputable builder !!
