I know I would be interested in getting a 5.45X39 conversion, ammo is still cheap and I have a ton of it.

I built a shorty on one of these conversions from barrelxchange and its one of my favorite guns!

For your 7.62X54R shorty what size booster hole are you using? Is it a 16 inch barrel?

Its a 16" barrel and im using a two piece tapered 308 booster that I drilled 8 5/16 holes in the sides. I left the hole in the front alone. It shoots a huge fire star.

That's a nice set up bigblock, your either a bachelor or have a very understanding wife, nice living room set up....

in a standard size barrel it shoots a HUGE fireball out of it - i can only imagine what a shorter barrel does

i couldnt believe the amount of concussion, and the size of the fireball when i first shot mine!! i was almost scared to shoot it

WANTED: 1915 Colt Vickers 30 06 parts (email me with what you have). Also need a fluted / corrugated Vickers water jacket (doesnt have to be Colt), and i need a Vickers belt loader hopper, clamp, and tray set.
