| Now you need to pull the top strap latch forward, freeing the backplate. This is one of the times that having the gun on it's mount will make your job easier, as the spring is very tight. You'll need to hold the latch until the buffer is past it. |
| Now pull the bolt back all the way and remove the bolt handle. The bolt now moves freely and can be removed from the rear of the receiver. |
