Orin Harding's done you one better, bringing you a CD with all the Rock Island Armory's specs, parts lists, and detailed info on their own M2 tripod. This information was created and submitted by C.A. Waldmann, Colonel, Ordnance Department, and approved by Brigadier General J. Kirk, Ordnance Department, Industrial Service, Small Arms Division in May of 1945. The documents (in PDF format) include:
There are over 90 original-sized drawings and prints, all in Adobe PDF format, right down to every nut, bolt and screw. The Adobe PDF viewer is also included on the CD.
