Anybody need a Sherman Tank? Built in 1941 & $50 shipping......

    eBay listing:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...E:B:SS:US:1123

It looks good and is in running condition for parades or just show and tell events. I'm wondering about the $50 for to the USA for economy shipping, guess I'll find out at the end of the auction. I may have to relocate my grand kids sandbox, or leave the wife's car out of the garage.

Just was out bid. But the auction goes for four more days.
I'll patiently re-size and trim brass, re-prime, charge w powder, and seat bullets.

Well my Dad was a Sherman tank commander during WW2 so I put in a bid for his sake of $1,111.11 and was out bid for some reason. I might try again later.
Remember if you are thinking of keeping this at home then make sure that the concrete pad is strong enough for it.

Wait I was going to bid again then I noticed that it was in England. So much for that. I have seen them for sale in the US for $500,000. As they say location, location and condition.

The main gun looks to be a 105mm not 75mm.

There were several other things that did not look right for a 1941 Sherman tank to me either. Looks like a nice mix match of parts built on a 1941 body. Still nice and I would like to own it but deed restrictions and such you understand and something about the price also.

Don't think you can re-import US armor back into the country.

I wonder if that would be classified as an "Assault Weapon" or an "ATV"?

Remember the saying, "if it looks too good to be true,it probably isn't!" I'd bet money that this guy isn't real, no reserve, not likely, if it doesn't look like he's going to get what he wants for them he'll end the auction, and I'd doubt very much that you would be able to import either of them, the scud launcher would make a neat motor home though!
