Can they be used for .308 and if so do you seat them the same or is there a trick to using them? I have a bunch and don't want to pitch them if I can use them.
Yes, the -06 links can be used for 308, but the rounds tend to stretch the links a bit, causing the belt to curve in towards the projo tips of the ammo. On depth, I would have to mess with that combo again, as I have not done so in years. I have plenty of both styles of links so there has been no need. But there is a proper depth that works well, and someone else may have that info here.
