Maybe British ANM2? Like part of a solenoid trigger?
That is correct. It is the solenoid powered via pneumatic pressure for the Brit ANM2 Mk2. It connects to the bottom plate. When activated, a small piston is driven upwards which in turn make contact with a lever, pulling the sear down releasing the bolt. It's an open bolt gun for those that don't know.
