    photos of Captured guns and equipment

    hope this topic might generate some interest and posts I am going to start off with a series of photos I believe were posted from Great Britain. These are of a fenced in yard in Vietnam post war look very carefully at the photos lots of goodies.

    The "Project X" pictures of the Vietnamese scrap yard.
    I believe there is a dedicated site for the pictures.
    All that material was sold off and melted down.
    Chances are if you own a Japanese car, some part of that pile is in it!

    Here is something from Estonia that was such a waste!
    I am sure US funds were provided for the destruction.
    There were NEW Makarov's and Tokarev's being shredded too.

    That's allot to digest I can post more later if you guys want this yard was huge and I got these photos from several posts some may be same . Tremendous waste of our tax payer dollars

    all those brand new guns with magazines attached had to be UN inspired

    Gotta do something with it - even the U.S. collector's market isn't big enough to absorb all of it. When "The Wall" came down, hundreds of thousands of former Soviet weapons entered the black market. Despite overbearing gun control regulations, AK-47s are readily available to the criminal and terrorist element in Europe for $1,200.00 - $1,500.00. That's not necessarily a good thing. Flame on.
